Every car's bumper is important to reduce the impact and damage during road accidents and collisions. You may experience minor collisions anywhere either with another vehicle or concrete foundations and objects. Installation Materials

Front Bumper Installation

Use the screwdriver to loosen the retaining clips then move the grille by pulling it forward and lift to remove. You can then remove the grille moulding located below the headlight. Remove the small grille and the fog lights' mounting bolts then pull out to expose the electrical connector and unplug the fog lights.
Uninstall the damaged front bumper by removing the bumper bolts and retaining clips to the fender and radiator support, respectively. Let your assistant hold the bumper for support as you loosen its nuts and bolts using wrench then remove it. Ask your assistant to place and hold the new front bumper as you replace the nuts and bolts. Use your wrench to tighten each bolt and nut to support the new bumper in place. Rear Bumper Installation
If your Nissan Pathfinder is equipped with tire carrier at the rear door, loosen the bolts that support it in place to remove the tire carrier with its guide and rubber bumper. Locate the mud flaps then loosen the mounting screws. Remove the mud flaps to expose the inner fender shield. Loosen the screw and fastener of the fender shield to remove then start uninstalling the rear bumper. You can start with the upper half b y removing the six retaining clips. Ask your assistant to hold the bumper for support then loosen the nuts that holds the bumper brackets. Remove the damaged rear bumper then let your assistant place and hold the bumper replacement. Bolt and clip the rear bumper tightly in place then reinstall the tire carrier, inner fender shield and mud flaps in their places.
