- Do your research. Before you price your vehicle make sure you conduct research. See you're your car is being priced at on different websites and price yours competitively, but consider pricing yours a bit lower to attract more people. - Spread the word. An easy way for you to help yourself out is to not just rely on car buying websites to get a buyer, but do the extra work. Post pictures and the prices of your vehicle on your social pages, people you know may need a vehicle or someone they know may need one. To attract more people make sure you provide the price but also say "OBO" which means "Or Best Offer" which will make you look like you're not a hassle to deal with and willing to negotiate. But don't negotiate to the point where the sell would be pointless for you!
Remember to be honest about your vehicle's past, whether it was in an accident or if it's always made a certain noise. You do not want to sell someone a bad car; it can lead to legal troubles in the future.
